A few words about this site:

The 5th Balkan Olympiad in Informatics has been held in the city of Drama, Greece, between September 30th and October 5th, 1997. Eight balkan countries sent their four-student teams to compete at the event. A total of 37 students participated.

This is an unofficial web site, built by Kostas Symeonidis, and contains a comprehensive coverage of the event. You can find the problems, the results, photos, links to other similar competitions etc.

I decided to build this site, to offer to those remarkable students I met there, a memory of the competition they participated, along with my wishes to even greater success!
